A short shuttle trip to each park and an easy walk across the street to Downtown Disney, Regal Sun Resort is an ideal location for families visiting Disney World. The final project of the Regal Sun Resort's $25 million renovation is the "Oasis Aquatic Playground," a giant clover shaped "beach entry" pool with interactive water activities.  On the colorful playground, there are water cannons that spray, a mushroom tower that creates a gentle waterfall and other raised areas that spray and dump water on the little tykes below.

With this additional playground area, the pool space has now doubled in size. There is also a second heated pool and raised hot tub that over looks the entire pool area and Lake Buena Vista.

Along with the new pool playground, Regal Sun has added more amenities for children, like the Kids Corner in the lobby. The new Bermuda themed lobby has a dedicated section equipped with a television, a Nintendo Wii, and other games and puzzles. There are also scheduled events in the Kids Corner, like Movie Nights or Bedtime Stories, where milk and cookies are provided.

Be sure to take advantage of this resort's Disney Character Breakfasts as well. Nearby is the Lobby Bar where parents can enjoy a coffee and plan out the day while kids play.  The Eclipse Bar is also a new addition to the renovated lobby.

Both kids and adults will enjoy the "Murder Watch Mystery Theatre" dinners, offered each Saturday night at the new restaurant LakeView, whose large windows present impressive views of Lake Buena Vista.
